I have lived in Japan and worked in the UK where I was raised as well as Chicago and LA in the US. In between times I have visited another 20 roughly countries to keep things interesting or work. Every trip I learned something however it was only when I was coping with another country did I really commence to understand the culture. But how could you work abroad?
Be Flexible. If your organizational is global you may then have the opportunity to check out another location, carry on an exchange program or transfer if you're willing to be flexible. Be Brave. If you would like to go - do it. Go to be a tourist in order to find a teaching job or soul mates and stay. Or try to find job advertisements or friends with contacts abroad.
